Planning consent was granted in the spring of 2021 for the conversion of a five storey office back to residential use. The scheme involves creating a four-storey townhouse with separate basement flat. ZONE's scheme includes contemporary design carefully inserted into the listed fabric of the building. The design aims to provide a workable family home in a building that had originally been designed to be run by a number of servants. The former service space of attic and basement are now to be made into high quality living space.
ZONE are bringing a number of skills to the project including a knowledge of conservation principles for this A-listed building, experience of desigining and detailing high-end interior finishes and fittings and an understanding of how to create delightful and workable family living spaces.
